Stephanie Streja, Soprano
Voce Dolce Studio Founding Director
Stephanie Streja is a Coloratura Soprano, Music Educator, Conductor, Pianist, Cantorial Soloist, Bach Choral and Judaic Music Specialist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Voice & Opera and Music Education from Northwestern University and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Conducting from the University of California, Irvine. Over the last decade she has served as Artistic Director of several arts organizations, Director of Music for church and synagogue choirs, performed as Soprano Soloist with countless orchestras and choirs, and played such memorable stage roles as Mimi in “La Boheme”, Fanny Brice in “Funny Girl”, and Bloody Mary in “South Pacific.” Currently, Stephanie serves as the Voice Department Head for the Sun Valley Music Festival’s Summer Music Institute where she conducts the Advanced Chamber Choir and oversees the Choral Program and Opera Workshop for advanced voice students. She is also Director of the Adat Elohim Chorale in Thousand Oaks and maintains an active private teaching schedule. She lives and teaches in Thousand Oaks, CA.
